San Carlos offers lots of parks and greenspace for enjoying the community’s wonderful year-round weather. Crestview Park is one of many neighborhood parks within the city featuring a playground for kids. Burton Park also has a playground as well as courts for tennis and basketball, a baseball field, and a water play feature. Eaton Park extends over 58 acres with hiking trails providing sweeping views across the Bay Area. The adjacent 16-acre Big Canyon Park is traversed by rugged trails, which also provide magnificent views. Every Sunday, the year-round San Carlos Farmers’ Market brings lots of vendors offering fresh local produce and specialty prepared food items.
